Read the whole thing. If it was not worth it, take your money back. That is the entire policy, and the rest of this page is just the mechanics.
The guarantee
Thirty days. No form. No reason required. If a book does not do what this site said it would do, you get a full refund of what you paid.
You also keep the file. Chasing a download back would cost more than the refund and would be pointless anyway — a book you feel cheated by is worth nothing to either of us.
How to ask
- Reply to your purchase receipt, or write to hello@skipthedegree.net.
- Include the email address you bought with, so the order can be found.
- That is all. You do not have to explain yourself, though if you tell us what was missing it will probably get fixed.
How long it takes
Requests are answered within 2 business days and the refund is issued through Lemon Squeezy, which processed the original payment. Once issued, the money typically appears back on your card in 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. It goes back to the payment method you used; it cannot be redirected anywhere else.
What is covered
- Any single volume, within 30 days of purchase.
- The Library, within 30 days of purchase.
The one limit
Refunds are for readers who tried the book and decided it was not for them. If the same person buys and refunds repeatedly, future purchases may be declined. That is the only restriction, and it exists so the guarantee can stay this generous for everyone else.
If something is wrong with the file
Do not ask for a refund first — just say so. A broken, corrupted or undeliverable file gets replaced immediately, and if it cannot be fixed you are refunded in full regardless of how long ago you bought it.
Your legal rights
This guarantee is offered on top of your statutory rights, not instead of them. EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal on distance purchases, which for immediately-downloaded digital content is waived at checkout. The 30-day guarantee here is longer and is honoured regardless. Nothing on this page reduces any right you have by law.
